Tuna Confit, Salade Niçoise

By marinating our Island Brand Tuna Saku blocks, and then poaching them slowly in olive oil with fresh herbs, the resulting Tuna Confit makes an elegant and delicious addition to a beautiful Salade niçoise. Made from fresh green beans, baby potatoes, olives, ripe tomatoes, boiled eggs, and seasonal greens topped with a vinaigrette, this colorful salad also pairs well with a seared or grilled Island Brand Tuna Steak.  Served as an appetizer or entrée, Island Brand Tuna and salad make a great summertime combo and a tasty addition to any menu.
